Overview
The British Society for Rheumatology is the UK’s leading medical society for rheumatology and musculoskeletal professionals. I was tasked with developing a series of templates for use across their social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, email banners, and presentation slides. The goal was to create a cohesive visual identity across all channels, enhancing their online presence and ensuring consistency in communication.
Process
All templates were designed to be user-friendly for easy editing by staff, with Canva selected for this purpose. Initial designs were created in Figma and then transferred to Canva once approved. The project involved designing over 450 templates, with the challenge of adapting designs to fit the specific size requirements of each platform. Ensuring that the templates were consistent in style and flexible enough for various types of content was key to meeting the client’s needs.
Results
By leveraging Canva, the templates could be quickly edited and adapted to suit the needs of different teams. With over 450 templates delivered, the project successfully streamlined the society’s social media and communication efforts, ensuring a cohesive and professional presence across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and email. This approach allowed staff to maintain consistent branding and messaging while allowing flexibility in content creation.
