Cathx Ocean, a global leader in underwater imaging, introduced Clarity UI, a cutting-edge software designed to optimise image capture and processing. The project encompassed key design stages, from concept development and wireframing to high-fidelity design and asset preparation, ensuring a seamless and efficient user experience.
Process
A key challenge was streamlining complex user flows, as the software required multiple steps for image capture, processing, and analysis. Simplifying these workflows while maintaining full functionality was crucial. Additionally, implementing both light and dark modes added complexity, demanding careful UI optimisation to ensure readability and usability across different lighting conditions.
Results
Built from the ground up, the app transitioned from hand-drawn wireframes to high-fidelity designs, resulting in a seamless and intuitive interface. Optimised workflows reduced steps for image capture and processing, enhancing efficiency. Light and dark modes improved readability, while a scalable design ensured adaptability for future growth.
